TerraCycle Recycling Bins

Fairfield Public Library partners with TerraCycle Fairfield to help our community responsibly recycle hard-to-dispose-of items that can’t go in regular curbside bins. Patrons can drop off accepted items in clearly marked collection boxes inside the library, where they’ll be shipped to TerraCycle for specialized recycling. This free service supports our mission of sustainability while keeping waste out of landfills and giving everyday materials a second life.

 Media Storage Waste Box
Can accept : 8 track tapes, Blue-ray discs, CDs, cassette tapes, DVD, external hard drives, floppy disks, memory sticks

Battery Box
Can accept: 9-volt batteries, AA batteries, AAA batteries, alkaline batteries, C batteries, D batteries, drycell batteries, small lithium & lithium ion batteries

E-Waste Box
Can accept: Cell phones, computers & laptops, desktop & handheld computers, digital recorders, fax machines, keyboards, monitors, printers, radios and stereos

Oral Care Box
Can accept: Floss containers, toothbrushes, toothpaste caps, tooth brush outer packaging, toothpaste outer packaging, toothpaste tubes​​​​​​​
