Library Board

The Fairfield Public Library Board of Trustees provides local leadership rooted in Fairfield’s long tradition of civic involvement and support for public learning. The Board is responsible for guiding the Library’s mission, overseeing policy and budget decisions, and working closely with the Director to ensure services reflect the needs of Fairfield residents. Through this stewardship, the Trustees help the Library remain a welcoming, forward-looking institution at the heart of the Fairfield community.

FPL Board Meetings 
The regular monthly meetings of the Fairfield Public Library Board of Trustees shall be held at the Library at 5:15 p.m. on the third Monday of each month, except in December, when they precede that month’s City Council meeting, or when the third Monday is a holiday.
