Annual Summer Reading Challenge

Summer 2026 Theme: Plant a Seed, Read
Get ready to “Plant a Seed, Read” this summer! From June 6th through July 31st, readers from birth to age 18 are invited to join Fairfield Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge. Track your reading with the Beanstack app, earn points, and win prizes! Thanks to the support of local sponsors, we’re also offering exciting programs, performances, and activities for all ages. Whether you're just sprouting as a reader or already growing a garden of great books, there’s something for everyone—so plant the seed for a summer full of reading, learning, and fun!
