Bio: Dr. Amal Shibli- Rahhal attended medical school at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She then did her residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship training in endocrinology and Metabolic bone disease at the University of Iowa. She is currently a Clinical Professor in the division of endocrinology with primary clinical and research focus on metabolic bone disorders and osteoporosis. Dr. Shibli-Rahhal is also involved in administrative roles including as associate dean for student affairs and curriculum at the University of Iowa Carver college of medicine, college faculty accreditation lead for continued accreditation, and prior endocrinology fellowship director.
