The (Blood) Thirsty Word
October 21, 2021 from 7:30- 9:00 PM

Fairfield Public Library is now sponsoring monthly events for the Thirsty Word Reading Series.  This month she has redubbed it Blood Thirsty, muah-ha-ha-haaa.  The group brings an outdoor evening of spine-tingling true stories, freaky fictional fabrications, and poems of the weird by local wordsmiths Rustin Larson, Chloe Hennessy, Tim Pelton, Dave Patterson, and Meredith Siemsen (with special guests Lou Bolster and John Grunwald)!

Organizer and host Meredith Siemsen says, "I couldn't resist another spooky-themed story night--under a near full moon!  Expect paranormal, abnormal, and anything ooga-booga in between.  Plan on a PG-13 creep factor."

Taking place in Petra Park, Fairfield's urban plaza at 101 W. Briggs, the "third Thursdays" series begins at 7:30 p.m. and wraps up around 9 p.m. Come have a listen! Freewill donations are greatly appreciated.
