Low Vision Support

The library's Low Vision Support Group is designed to benefit area residents who live with macular degeneration, glaucoma, and other types of visual impairment. This group meets as presenters become available to offer lifeskills training, to address current issues around low vision, or to talk about treatment options.  The library is now a demonstration site for Iowa Department for the Blind.  Front desk staff can show you how to use their audiobook equipment and register for an IDB library card.  See also Reading Magnifiers.
