Enjoy stories, songs, finger plays and more with Youth Services Librarian Alecs Mickunas every Monday morning at 10:15am. This events meets in-person at the library in the storytime corner of the Youth Services Department. Stories and activities will be selected for children age 4 and under with a special consideration for infants but children of all ages are welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the general public.

Join Youth Services Librarian Alecs Mickunas every Tuesday evening at 5:15 PM for Good Night Story Time. Stories will be selected for preschool-age children through children in early literacy. This event is free and open to the general public. The activity’s emphasis is on learning social skills, literacy, art and play. Story Time will take place in the storytime corner of the Youth Services Department. We ask that children's caregivers please remain present during story time.

Location: Fairfield Public Library Meeting Room
Join us on the last Friday of the month from 5:00–6:00pm for a live reading of a new and well-reviewed chapter book or middle grade novel followed by discussion. Snacks and drinks will be provided alongside art materials and board games for later in the program. This event is free and open to kids ages 8-12 and their parents or caregivers. This month we are reading the 2022 All Iowa Reads selection “The Lonely Heart of Maybelle Lane” by Kate O'Shaughnessy.
